Infatuation is enough when you're hurting
And though it's not you can call it love when you're just flirting
True love is more than the feeling when it's new
True love is knowing you
And the passion means so much when you are healing
You can only live with a broken heart if it's still beating
True love isn't crying over what you figure you've lost
True love doesn't mind the cost

For we're golden children of the dawn
Here to love for the moment until we're gone
We try to hold on to the sunrise But the morning always comes along
Do you know which direction you are heading
Or do you blow in the wind the way the trees are bending

True love doesn't worry if you even know the way
True love wants to share the day
For we're golden children of the dawn
Here to love for the moment until we're gone
We try to hold on to the sunrise
But the morning always comes along
